What’s available in a consultation?

• A full-colour birth chart, with accompanying symbol key to remind you of what’s what.
• A look at yourself and your life using language that may sometimes be psychological but not in jargon or based on pathology; it’s about what you’re like, not what’s wrong with you.
• Recognition that there are many different aspects of being you, and insight into how they can relate.
• A dialogue based on what I make of your chart and what you make of that. It’s the meaning your chart can have for you that’s important.
• Light from an astrological angle on what’s going on in your life currently.
• Confidentiality. I also do my utmost to produce the core counselling qualities of respect, genuineness, empathy and non-judgement.
• A view of yourself reflected in elemental and planetary energy patterns. Most people find this strange, but good.

What’s not available in a consultation?

• Prediction. I have signed an agreement with my training organisation API(UK) not to try to predict what’s going to happen. Looking at energy patterns operating currently can help clarify what’s going on, which in turn can help you understand and deal with what might develop. We can look at past and future patterns in general while being clear that this is about forces operating in your life and not events.
• Detailed rehearsal of your past. I see energies, not events, and how much you share is up to you.
• A complete account of everything about you – not possible! Astrology allows for individual development and there is always more to discover.
• A particular spiritual philosophy or belief system – my aim is ‘mind wide open’.
• An explanation of why astrology works: nobody knows.
• A pre-packaged interpretation prepared by a computer programme. I study your chart and then we talk together about it.
• A written report. I’ve worked with words and symbols too long to trust that any one form of words can encapsulate all the meaning of a symbol, but a written report tends to look ’set in stone’. I’m happy with recordings of sessions, in which our voices ground the session in time, place and person.

All consultation fees include preparation time.

• 30 minute consultation: £20
• 60 minute consultation: £30
• 90 minute consultation: £40

Reductions available for low-waged and no-waged. It’s important to me that astrology is not just for the comfortably off, so if you need a reduction, just ask.
